In early February 2021, we will be sending out offers of places at our school. We operate strictly on a “first come, first served” basis. We also take siblings into account in the admissions process. The doors to IES Kungsbacka will open in August 2021. The school is located in central Kungsbacka and will have excellent facilities tailored for IES. Internationella Engelska Skolan welcomes the Swedish parliament’s decision today to allow children from year four onwards to receive grades. Four IES schools, in Eskilstuna, Karlstad, Landskrona and Täby, were part of a pilot project to examine what earlier grading would mean for younger children. Internationella Engelska Skolan Hässleholm is part of a wider organisation which has been running schools in Sweden since 1993.
